Greg Coriell, 52, of Boise, formerly of Mountain Home, died Feb. 2, 2009, of natural causes at a local hospital.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 21, at 450 E. 2nd North St. in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.

Greg was born Oct. 28, 1956, in Council, Idaho, a son of Thomas H. and Colleen Coriell.

Greg started as an apprentice commercial carpenter in 1975 after graduating from Mountain Home High School.

In 1996 Greg moved to Henry's Lake with his son, Brian, where he remodeled and opened Henry's Lake Station. Greg and Brian then moved to Ashton, Idaho, in 2005, and lived there until Brian's graduation in 2008. They moved to Boise in May of 2008.

Greg was an avid fisherman and hunter. Greg's greatest joy was to spend time with his son, Brian, playing golf, going fishing, and watching basketball games, his family said.

He is survived by: his son, Brian; his mother, Colleen Coriell; a brother, Mark Coriell; a sister, Valerie Champion, and two nieces and two nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by: his father, Tom Coriell, and his wife, Toni Coriell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at Key Bank to the Foundation of Brian Joseph Coriell, to help with his college education, or to a charity of choice in the name of Greg Coriell.
