Marx, Starkey marry

Kimberly Marx and Patrick Starkey, both of Boise, were wed Aug. 9, 2008, at the Idaho Botanical Gardens in Boise.

Pastor Joe Dorociak of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Boise officiated at the ceremony.

The bridegroom is a teacher at Mountain Home Junior High and is the son of Dr. Richard Starkey and Deb Hofer and Tish Starkey, all of Mountain Home. He graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2001 and Boise State University in 2007.

The bride is the assistant operations manager at All American Publishing in Boise. Her parents are Mitch and Shirley Marx of Lewiston. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 2003 and Boise State University in 2007.

Liz Rockwood of Portland was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nichelle Dykema, Nicolet Laursen, Becky Ophus, all of Boise, and Heather Coddington of Lewiston.

Best man was Josh Starkey of Puyallup, Wash. Groomsmen were Mark Cotton and Jarred Roberson, both of Mountain Home, and Aaron Hofer and Brian Marx, both of Boise.

Madison Starkey, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Matthew Starkey, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Both are from Puyallup.

A reception was held at the Idaho Botanical Gardens. The couple are residing in Boise.
