The ceremony will be held June 19, 2009, at the Banbury Golf Club in Eagle, and will be officiated by D.G. Van Curen.

John Harrison graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1991 and from Boise State University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in business management. He currently works as a travel consultant for Connexions Leisure Travel Services in Boise.

His flance graduated from Ceres High School in 2002. In 2004 Tami moved from Ceres, Calif., to Boise, and has lived there ever since. Like her fiance, she works as a Travel Consultant for Connexions Leisure Travel Services in Boise.

The engagement was entered into when the couple were having portraits taken at the J.C. Penny's Photography Studio in the Boise Towne Square Mall. After the couple had finished some of the initial poses, John bent down on one knee and proposed to Tami. The photographer managed to capture the scene on film.

The groom-elect is the son of Mountain Home residents Howard and Sue Harrison. The bride-elect is the daughter of Boise residents Rodney and Darla Stephens.
