Smiths hold formal nuptials

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Smith

The formal nuptials for Airman 1st Class Jessi Lyn Smith, daughter of Clara and Harry Smith of Hammett, and Senior Airman Matthew Sheridan Smith, son of Tracie and Ron Smith of Mountain Home, took place at the Hammett Community Church on May 26, 2007, with Pastor Ratzlaff officiating.

The bride wore a Cinderella-styled gown with seeded pearls and bead work, with a long train edged in lace. She wore a mid-length veil with a diamond and pearl tiara.

The bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Randi Ortega of Hammett and Jaemi Smith of Nyssa, Ore. Her maid of honor was Senior Airman Courtney Brown from Florida and the matron of honor was Lisa Albedyll from California. Her man of honor was Senior Airman Jason Albedyll from Beale AFB, Calif. Her attendants carried white roses and blue tiger lilies and wore periwinkle gowns and vest and tie that was silver.

The groom and groomsmen wore traditional black tuxes with silver and black vests and ties. The best man was Staff Sgt. Alex Perkins from Ellsworth AFB, S.D. Groomsmen were Trent Daugherty and Ron Smith from Mountain Home and Kyle Ortega, the bride's nephew, from Hammett.

A solo was sung by Miranda Ellis during the ceremony and Janet Henson provided music. A reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Mountain Home.

The newlyweds returned to Lakenheath AFB in England after a short honeymoon.
