Elsiemae Browning Cunningham, 92, of Glenns Ferry, died April 21, 2007.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 28, at the Glenns Ferry LDS Church. Burial services will take place at a later date in Phoenix, Ariz. Arrangements are under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service -- Gooding Chapel.

Elsiemae "Bobbie" was born July 15, 1914, at Miners Hospital in Park City, Utah, to Clara and Dr. Alfonzo Browning. Alfonzo was the attending physician at the birth of his daughter. She acquired the nickname, Bobbie, as Alfonzo had a boy in mind.

Bobbie grew up in Utah and later moved to Phoenix, Ariz. She attended junior college and graduated in 1935.

In was in Phoenix that she met the love of her life, Harold, and they wed Oct. 8, 1938. Together two sons, Don "Bud" and Wayne, were born to that union.

Harold and Bobbie ranched in Gilbert, Ariz., and then moved with their sons to the Pahsimeroi Valley of Idaho to continue successfully ranching.

Harold preceded Bobbie in death, dying in October 1967.

After Harold's death Bobbie moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. There she enjoyed the company of several cousins and was active in church.

In 1992 Bobbie moved to Mountain Home to be closer to her son, Don, along with his family.

In her later years, she eventually moved into Popular Grove, an assisted living facility in Glenns Ferry, which she called home the past three years.

"With a bounce in her step and a twinkle in her eye, we know she is not gone, she's just away," her family said.

Bobbie is survived by: her sons, Don (Carol) Cunningham of Salmon, Idaho, and Wayne (Lorna) Cunningham of Gill, Colo.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations to be made to the Mary Summers Prescription Fund at the U.S. Bank in Glenns Ferry.
