Debra Hegre-Beckett, 51

Debra Arlee Hegre-Beckett, 51, of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Mountain Home, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Nov. 13, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Debbie was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Boise, the daughter of Dean and Rosemary Beckett. She was raised and schooled in Mountain Home.

Debbie married Steven Hegre in February 1972, in Elko, Nev. She followed Steven throughout his military career and together they had two children. Debbie and Steven later divorced.

Debbie's hobbies included collecting horses and painting.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vancouver and was currently working as a full-time student on receiving two degrees, in susiness and accounting.

Debbie is survived by: her son, Mathew Hegre of Vancouver, Wash.; her daughter, Patricia Hegre of Vancouver, Wash.; her stepdaughter, Honey Lynn of Washington; her mother, Rosemary Beckett of Boise; three brothers, William Beckett, Allan Beckett and Chad Beckett; her sister, Tami Elliott, seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dean, and one brother, Wesley Ray.
