Danny Young, 47

Danny Kaye Young, 47, of Mountain Home, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, of Mountain Home.

Danny was born Oct. 7, 1958, in Modesto, Calif., the son of Kenneth and Patricia Young. He was raised and schooled in the Modesto area and worked as a general laborer.

Twelve years ago he moved to Mountain Home and worked at Elmore Medical Center, Mountain Home Ford and the Stage Stop of Boise.

Danny enjoyed watching football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, as well as a avid fan of the San Francisco Giants when it came to baseball, and Dale Ernhart, Jr., when it came to NASCAR.

He also attended the Assembly of God Church.

Danny is survived by: his father, Kenneth Young of Modesto, Calif.; his sister, Deantha Short of Mountain Home; a brother, Dale Young of Modesto, Calif.; a sister, Donna Bigelow of Riverbank, Calif., a sister, DeAnna Young of Modesto, Calif., and a daughter, Patricia Gale Young of Merced, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Louise Young.
