Margaret Howell, 72, of Blackfoot, formerly of Glenns Ferry, died, Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Syringa Chalet.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29, at the First Baptist Church in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Interment followed in the Moreland Cemetery in Moreland, Idaho .

Margaret was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Walter McManimi and Susie Kralik. She attended St. Margaret's Catholic School during her elementary years and graduated for Blackfoot High School.

She married William Howell in Pocatello. They were later divorced.

She lived in Glenns Ferry from 1964 to 2005 when she moved to Boise and then to Blackfoot.

Margaret worked as a telephone operator in Blackfoot and Salt Lake City, Utah.

She also worked in several cafes and at the senior citizens center in Glenn's Ferry.

She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting.

Margaret is survived by: her children, Tim Howell and Jim Howell, both of Boise, and Kathryn (Ronald) Nelson, of Nampa; two sisters, Helen Hansen and Anna Moses, both of Blackfoot; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Andy, Bud and Bill and a sister, Loretta Forsmann.
