Christie Lee Dockstader, 27, of Mountain Home, died in an auto accident on Friday, Dec. 16, 2005.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, Mountain Home.

Christie was born May 6, 1978, the daughter of Ted and Debbie Gump, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She graduated from Mountain Home High School in May of 1996. While in high school Christie and her dad built a 1963 VW into a Baja from the bottom up. Throughout school she was active with Girl Scouts and she made her father register to be a Girl Scout Leader.

On Nov. 9, 1996, Christie married her high school sweetheart. Christie and Travis had two children, Heather, now 8 and Trever, now 3.

She was employed at Albertson's and had been since the age of 16, working in various departments. Her most recent position was as Dairy Manager.

Christie and Travis loved to go camping, fishing, and water skiing. Her family noted that she loved gardening and spending time with her kids, family and dogs. She loved dolphins and taking pictures and developing them. They were in the process of building their dream home on their new property. "Christie was very out going, positive and always there to help anyone," her family said.

She is survived by: her husband, Travis; daughter Heather and son Trever; her parents, Ted and Debbie Gump; a sister, Lisa, and her husband, Ken Mills; a brother, Leslie Gump, and her mother-in-law, Arlene Dockstader, all of Mountain Home; her grandmother, Evelyn Bourshaw, and grandmother Wanda Waters, both of Oregon; a great-grandmother, Esther Zimmerman, of Washington, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been setup for the Dockstader's Children's College Fund at Home Federal Bank, 400 N. 3rd East St., Mountain Home, ID 83647.
