John Noble, 75

John L. (Jack) Noble, 75, of Mountain Home, died April 21, 2005, at his home.

Graveside service were held Tuesday April 26, at Bruneau Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.

Jack was born the second of five children to John E. and Lora Lemon Noble on Aug. 1, 1929. He attended Bruneau Elementary and High School.

After graduation he joined the Navy and served as a SeaBee for nearly five years.

After his discharge from the Navy he attended the University of Idaho in Moscow where he met and, in August 1954, married Mona Wright They moved to Mountain Home in 1955 where he was employed at the Base Exchange, Mountain Home Auto Parts, Base Supply, Base Civil Engineering, and retired from the DOD Surplus Property Division in July 1985.

Jack and Mona enjoyed their cabin near Pine, along with snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and 8-wheeling as well as working on their property. Last winter they enjoyed their newest home near Parker, Ariz.

Jack is survived by: his wife, Mona, of Mountain Home; sisters Shirley Baumler of Hagerman, Emma Robinson and her husband, Bob, of Hagerman, Mary Young and her husband, Elvin, of Tuttle, an aunt and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger.
