Faye C. Dench-Richards, 72, of Mountain Home, died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at her home, with her family by her side.

Memorial services will be held today, Wednesday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church. Committal will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home.

Faye was born Feb. 16, 1933, with her twin brother in Amarillo, Texas. After they grew up in Texas, they both moved to California.

She married and had 5 children "and loved each one in her own special way," her family noted.

Faye was a nurse for many years in San Diego and her favorite place to work was the children's hospital.

"She loved to work with flowers and plants around her home," her family said, adding, "Faye loved the company of her grandchildren and great-grandson. In her extra time she always enjoyed going out on the town to shop."

Faye is survived by: her five children, Phillipp Dench of Mountain Home; Greg McAllister and his wife, Carla, of Houston, Texas; Kimberly Nelson and her husband, Lee, of Temecula, Calif.; Penelope Singh of Mountain Home; and Mae Beaver and her husband, Doug, of Mountain Home; her twin brother, Ray Cooper and his wife, Wanell, of Ontario, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Both parents, her husband, Harry, and one great-grandchild, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
