Lois Fern (Bailey) Cunningham, 88, died in King Hill Feb. 26, 3005.

Graveside services will be held at Gibbonsville, Idaho, cemetery, at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 2. She will be buried beside her husband, Paul.

Lois was born in Chesterfield, Cherry County, Neb., June 30, 1916. She was the seventh of 10 children born to Arthur Lincoln Bailey and Priscilla Belle (Woolard) Bailey.

Her parents settled in the Twin Falls area in the mid 1920s and she attended grade school and high school there.

Just before World War II she married Paul Delbert Cunningham. During the war they moved to Nevada and then to Montana. In 1945 they moved to Kimberly, Idaho.

After their children were out of high school they moved to Gibbonsville, Idaho, and lived in the Salmon, Idaho, area until her husband's death. She then came to Wendell to be near family and later to King Hill.

She loved to fish and hunt, and was a crack shot with a rifle, he family noted. "She was very artistic and her needlework was a work of art, as she loved to crochet, knit and do handy craft work," they said, adding, "she had a green thumb that was something to behold, her flowers were always magnificent, and vegetables always top quality."

She is survived by: a daughter, Maxine (Bob) Short of Shoshone; two sons, C.J. (Sarah) Cunningham of Huntsville, Ala., and Robert C. (Elaine) Cunningham of King Hill; ten grandchildren and many great, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sybil Goodman of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Wauneta Ferrari of Torrington, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, two sisters, five brothers, and one great-grandchild.
