Thomas A. Clark, 64, of Mountain Home died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at his home with his wife, Lois, by his side.

Viewing will be held Thursday Nov. 4, 2004, from 11:30 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Prairie Hall, in Prairie. Services are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home.

Tom was born Oct. 30, 1940, the son of Raymond and Edna Clark; Tom was the youngest of 13 children. Tom received his education in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1958.

In December 1958 Tom moved to Prairie and started working for Julius McDonald. There he met and married Lois Davison on Sept. 3, 1965. "Tom and Lois always said a marriage is like bed of roses -- you must take the thorns as well as the good parts," his family said.

Tom had various jobs in and around Elmore County. Tom decided in 1977 to become self-employed doing what he loved doing -- attending his cows and working outdoors.

Tom loved helping folks with answering questions regarding farming and farm animals so Tom went to work for Farmers Warehouse in Mountain Home until his illness took over.

Tom is survived by: his wife, Lois, of Mountain Home; daughters Judith Artis of Coeur d'Alene, Letha Santana of Richfield, and Theresa Clark of Jerome; four brothers, Dewy Clark of Washington, Herb Clark of Oregon, Marion Clark of California, and Jim Clark, of Idaho; four sisters, Alma Bradley of California, Ruth Healy, Dorothy Poulson, and Irma Clark, all of Idah; and four grandchildren.

Both parents and three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
