Gaynell Baublitz, 74

Gaynell Irene Ingraham Baublitz, 74, of Mountain Home, wife and mother, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at a Boise hospital.

Graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 2, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements were under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.

Gaynell was born in Greenville, Mich., on June 7, 1929, the daughter of Glenn and Jennie (Swartz) Ingraham.

On April 13, 1948, she married Eugene "Ike" K. Baublitz in Michigan.

In 1955 they moved to Mountain Home with their son, Rex. From 1975 until the time of her passing Gaynell and Ike lived in the house they had built.

"Gaynell was a kind and caring person," her family said. When her husband fell ill in 1980, Gaynell was there by his side taking care of him until her death.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Miriam Chapter #16 of Mountain Home. "She will be missed by all," her family said.

Gaynell is survived by: her husband, Eugene "Ike" Baublitz; daughter-in-law Natalie Baublitz of Glenns Ferry; one grandson and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Rex A. Baublitz.
