Ora Ellen Allred Decker of King Hill died Friday morning, Sept. 19, 2003 at her home after a battle with cancer.

A memorial celebration of her life was held Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Glenns Ferry VFW Hall. Rev. Juanita Bergacker officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Mountain Home Chapel.

Ora was born Feb. 2, 1935, at Ponca, Ark., to Wert and Pearl Allred.

The family moved to the Twin Falls area in 1942 where she attended Shamrock Elementary School and later settled in King Hill.

She married Jack Lisle in 1951 and had two daughters, Terrie and Yvonne. Jack died in a car accident in 1954. Ora later married Bud Decker, the love of her life, in 1955, and to that union, a daughter, Claudia was born.

Many treasured friends were made as the family traveled throughout Idaho with Bud's construction jobs, her family said. " In every town, Ora opened her door and heart with a smile and the smell of home-cooked meals. She was a mother and grandmother to many more children than just her own. Her home was always open to anyone who needed some extra care.

"Bud and Orie truly loved their cabin and spending time with their daughters and grandchildren.

"Her greatest accomplishment," her family said, "was loving her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by: her husband, Bud Decker of King Hill; her daughters, Terrie (Rocky) Trail of King Hill, Yvonne Decker of Glenns Ferry, Claudia (Rich) Morrison of Hammett; her brother, Herb (Shirley) Allred of Gooding; her sisters, Helen (Bill) Arbaugh, Glenns Ferry, Shirley (Ted) Lisle, King Hill, her seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wert and Pearl Allred, her husband, Jack Lisle, and brother, Den Allred.

The family requests no flowers but suggests memorials be made to Horizon Home Health and Hospice, 1310 American Blvd., Mountain Home, Idaho 83647.
