Arts council seeks submissions for literary journal

The Whistle Pig features short stories, poems, memoirs, personal musings, drama, song lyrics and other short literary pieces as well as drawings, paintings and photographs produced by people in the local area.

Representatives with the Mountain Home Arts Council are seeking original stories and artwork for its yearly literary journal.

With its fifth volume slated for publication this fall, The Whistle Pig includes short stories, poems, memoirs, personal musings, drama, song lyrics and other short literary pieces written by people in the local area.
