On Nov. 3, 2012, Theron passed away at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born Sept. 26, 1926, the son of John and Esther Wegmn, at Grand View, where he was raised and attended school before graduating high school.

He joined the U.S. Navy, where he served during WWII.

He worked with his brothrs, Bill and Bob, at Denio and Winnemucca, Nev., quarrying the Owyhee Rose Stone.

In the late '50s he moved to Reno where he owned and operated his own construction company.

Theron was known for his integrity and being a friend to all those who knew him.

On Aug. 21, 1957, he married the love of his life, Besie Rush Creat, at Reno.

He was a member of the Scottish Rite Free Masons and the Kerek Shrine.

He is survived by daughter Karen Wegman, grandchildren Carrie Payan, Karmella and Lance Wegman, great-grandchildren Lance Jr. and Myah, all of Reno, sister Birdie Hipwell of Mountain Home, sister-in-laws Dorothy Wegman of Nampa and Sofia Wegman of Boise, and several nieces and nephews (who called him Uncle Moon).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie, daughter JoAnn Payan, his parents, sister Geri Kraus, and brothers Bill, Clayton and Bob.

We knew this day would come but wished it wouldn't. We love and miss you.

A service was held Nov. 12 in Reno.
