Misprint prompts city to cut back on golf course promo

With the city golf course losing hundreds of dollars due, in part, to the misprint, officials voted to end the promotion Dec. 31 versus the original end date of August 2013.

A misprint on a local high school fundraising promotion is prompting city officials to adjust the final day that people can receive discounts at the local golf course.

During a city council meeting Sept. 24, local officials raised concerns regarding the Tiger Card promotion after an increasing number of the misprinted cards were being used at the Desert Canyon Golf Course.
