On the Road

Howdy again from the road! Just returned from 2 weeks in Wickenburg Arizona. I have got to say that all those snow birds have the right idea! That part of Arizona is a ropers paradise. We were able to rope every single day we were there. I managed to get some much needed practice in and was able to start getting my horses in shape for the coming rodeo season.

While there I ran into Kevin Daniels and Chase Tryan, PRCA and Wrangler National Finals Qualifiers, and the team that won our local Daniel Dopps Memorial PRCA rodeo last year. They had some great things to say about our little rodeo and said that it will be on their list of places to go to in the upcoming season. Also talked a little with BJ Campbell, a Columbia Circuit cowboy who was also at our rodeo. He mentioned that the PRCA Team Roping Director gave praise to us for being one of the few small rodeos that have equel added money in the team roping event. That tells me that our rodeo is fast becoming a Wilderness Circuit choice. Tell next time, we'll see you down the road.
