One year after a local family chose to restart their furniture business in town, a fire caused severe damage to their store Monday afternoon.

According to an initial report by the Mountain Home Fire Department, the fire started in a warehouse belonging to the Consign-Plus New to You store. Flames had already engulfed the warehouse and two trailers behind the building by the time city fire crews arrived.
