Silvas celebrate 65th anniversary

Duane and Millicent Silva celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 30.

Duane Silva and Millicent Morese were married in 1946 in Vay, Idaho, at her parents' home.

Duane worked in a variety of professions over the years, retiring from the civil service at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Millicent and worked as a teacher. The couple have lived in Mountain Home for 30 years, all in the same home on Tindall Court.

They have three children, Michael, Eddie and Cheryl, and two grandchildren.
