Judy "Lefty" M. Crain, 65, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at a Boise hospital.

Per her request, no services will be held. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Judy was born on March 6, 1945, in Gooding, the daughter of Ralph and Claira (Snyder) Clark. She was raised in Glenns Ferry, and graduated from Glenns Ferry High School. She also attended one year at Boise State University, then known as Boise Junior College.

Judy married Daryel Crain on June 17, 1964, in Glenns Ferry. They lived in Las Vegas for 10 years, later returning to Mountain Home in June of 1973.

She was employed at Albertsons as a checker for 17 years and retired in December of 2005.

Judy was an avid book reader and read all her life

Judy is survived by her husband, Daryel, of Mountain Home, her daughter, DeeDee Stephens, of Washington, her sisters, Joyce Boatman and Francie Hepper, both of Nampa, her brother-in-law, Gary Crain, of Boise, her sister-in-law, Sharon Williams, of Inkom, Idaho, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her parents and her son, Dwane.
