Janet Hoefft

Janet Mae Hoefft, passed away peacefully at the age 65 after a five-month courageous battle with cancer.

Jan moved to the Rogue Valley in July of 1980, at which time, she settled into White City. Shortly after, she moved to Shady Cove and Eagle Point. She enjoyed spending her time salmon fishing on the Rogue River.

Jan is married to Thomas Hoefft of Eagle Point.

In 1997, Jan and Tom moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where they lived for many years. Recently, she managed Canyon Creek and West Wind Manor mobile home parks.

Jan loved people and was the rock that everyone relied on. Her beautiful smile made everyone's day. No matter what the task, she always gave 125 percent. She impacted so many people's lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Jan leaves behind a mom, Patsy Micheau, of Huron, S.D., a husband, Thomas Hoefft, daughters Tracie Lajeunesse (Roning) and Leslie McElroy (Roning), and a son, Doug Roning.

A memorial service for Jan will be held on May 29 at her daughter's house at 2717 South Jays Rd., Medical Lake, Wash. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
