Shirley Ann Languirand

Shirley Ann Languirand, 72, of Mountain Home, passed away on April 4, 2010, at a Boise hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Ann was born the daughter of Edward and Margaret Gell on July 29, 1937, in Northamptonshire, England. She was raised and schooled in Northamptonshire and in November of 1962 she married Paul Languirand in Northamptonshire.

Ann and Paul traveled throughout Europe and the Eastern United States during his US Air Force career, eventually settling in Mountain Home in 1970.

She worked at the Highlander Motel and the Towne Center Motel.

Ann enjoyed talking about her son, as well as knitting, sewing, decoupage, gardening, helping all her many friends and her animals.

Ann is survived by her son, Karl, of Meridian, her sister, Christine Boesl, of Mountain Home, and her nieces, Ellen Panter and Stacey Schilz, both of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul. Memorials in Ann's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
