Harry Nessly

Harry Sexton Nessly, age 86, passed away at Life Care Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID, on Sunday, February 14th, 2010.

Harry was born on the family farm in Tum Tum, WA., on November 20th, 1923, to George & Marjorie (Easton) Nessly. He served on the Battleship-Washington during WWII. Harry lived in Glenns Ferry, Idaho since 1980, then in 2003 moved to the Coeur d'Alene area. 

Harry married Brenda L. Joslyn on Aug. 20, 1965 in Caldwell, Idaho.

He worked for the Federal Highway Administration as a Civil Engineer.

He was a member of United Methodist Church in Glenns Ferry, ID. He was also a member of the Board of Professional Engineers of Idaho. Harry was active in his retirement, with family, friends & his pets. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Priest Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda of Hayden, ID; 2 children: son, William Nessly of Columbia Falls, MT & daughter, Jennifer Sinha of Bothel, WA; Brother, James Nessly of Spokane Valley, WA; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

Harry is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, George; and sister, Margie Mae.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden, ID 83835.

Private family services will be held at Fairmont Memorial Park at a later date. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge of the arrangements.
