Dean Lloyd Holliday

Dean Lloyd Holliday went to be with our Lord and Father Jesus Christ July 16, 2009, at 10 p.m. less than six hours after accepting Christ and after a long battle with cancer. He was 81 years old.

He was born June 26, 1928, in Condie, S.D., to Ernest and Maude Holliday.

He served in the Navy Air Force and worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriff¹s department in 1962.

He was a long-time remember of the Masonic Lodge, El Korah Shrine, and The Elks.

He is survived by his two sons, Bob (Vicky) and Ed (Jenny) Holliday; and his six grandchildren, Lindsay, Adrienne, David, Elizabeth, Jessy, and Amy. He always had a little sarcasm in his jokes and that his family will miss. He always called it as he saw it, never pulled any punches, and enjoyed time with family.

He was our Dad, a Masonic Brother, and we will miss him dearly.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2009, from 4-7 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.

Services are under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.
