Helmick to marry Carney

Jake Carney and Darcy Helmick.

Neil and Sandy Helmick of Mayfield have announced the engagement of their daughter, Darcy, to Jake Carney, son of Pat and Tim Carney of Mountain Home.

Darcy is a 2001 graduate of the Mountain Home High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Idaho. She is employed by the Boise District BLM. Jake is a 1997 graduate of MHHS and is employed by M.R. Miller, Inc., of Boise.

A small family wedding is planned June 9 at the Helmick Ranch in Bliss. All family and friends are invited to help celebrate their union at the Mountain Home Elk's Lodge at 7 p.m.
