Ryker Jordan Woodruff, 4, of Mountain Home, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in an automobile accident, along with his mother, sister and uncle, near Mountain Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at the Mountain Home Idaho Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Ryker was born Oct. 8, 2002, in Twin Falls, the son of Darci and Dion Scott Woodruff.

"He was a bright, intelligent and, when not engaged in playing war, racing, or competition, a compassionate young boy who loved his family," his family said. "He frequently indulged himself in mischievousness just to keep things interesting. Otherwise, his favorite things were going to the park, running, all kinds of games, and anything having to do with balls or cars. He had a smile that could melt the heart of any person out there. This irreplaceable boy will be sorely missed."

Ryker is survived by: his father, Dion Scott Woodruff; his sister, Thea LeFevre; his brother, A.J. Woodruff; grandfather George Rodrigues, all of Mountain Home; grandparents Gary and Kathy Woodruff of Kimberly and Ken and Sheryl Carpenter of Buhl; great-grandparents Warner and Rhodonna Owen, Mary Rodrigues, Billy Joe and Viva Mae, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, JaQuita Rodrigues.

In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been set up at Idaho Independent Bank -- Rodrigues/Woodruff Memorial Fund, 310 American Legion Blvd, Mountain Home, ID 83647.
