Reba Whitmore, 69

Reba L. Whitmore, 69, of Mountain Home, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at a Boise hospital.

A viewing will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, on Wednesday, July 5. Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., the same day, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Reba was born Nov. 14, 1936, in Pawnee, Okla., the daughter of Percy and Mary Jane Baker. She lived her younger years in Pawnee and later moved to Fresno, Calif., where she attended high school.

Reba married Ron Whitmore and they later divorced. Reba moved to Winnemucca, Nev., and worked at the Winnemucca Farm.

Reba had been living in Mountain Home the last 18 years. She enjoyed playing horseshoes, and loved playing games and being with her grandchildren.

Reba is survived by: her husband, Dave Spafford; a son, Ronnie Whitmore; daughters Jannie Kaslner and her companion, Joemi, Maxine Adams and her finance, Omer, and Linda Roberts, all of Mountain Home, Debbie and her husband, Jim Choate, of Winnemucca, Nev.; a son, Wayne, and his wife, Shannon Whitmore, of Fruitland; a brother, Wayne Baker, and a sister, Thelma Hill, both of Fresno, Calif., 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandson.
