Allreds celebrate 65th

John and Phyllis Allred will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 5, 2005.

The couple lived in Glendora, Calif., for 35 years and raised eight children. They moved to Mountain Home 30 years ago, where three of their children, Jackie Payne, Carma Werschky and Anita Stokes, live. Their only son, John T. Allred and his wife, Betty, live in Arkansas. Cora and her husband, Ralf Whiffen, live in Oregon, Margie and her husband, Jim McCance, live in California, and Delayna and her husband, Dave Ellis, live in Washington. A youngest daughter, Lori, died of cancer.
