Esther May Beers, 74

Esther May Beers, 74, of Kenosha, Wis., formerly of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at St. Catherine's Medical Center in Kenosha.

Esther was born Sept. 8, 1929, to Frederick and Susan (Dorrheim) Stroh, in Missoula, Mont., and was educated through the schools of Missoula. She married Shirley M. Beers on Feb. 17, 1951, in Missoula, Mont.

An avid gardener who also loved to play Bingo, Esther was a bookkeeper for the propane gas company in Mountain Home for 21 years. She also volunteered for R.S.V.P. in Mountain Home.

Survivors include: one son, Bradley M. Beers of Mountain Home; daughter, Peggy J. (Don) Wynia of Kenosha, Wis.; four sisters, Frances (Chuck) Pearson of Halsey, Ore., Katherine Dagenias of Helena, Mont., Betty Bristow of Missoula, Mont., and Ruth (Richard) Schumac of Austin, Minn.; as well as three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Elsie Stroh; her husband, Shirley M. Beers; three daughters, Sherry Melodie, Jamie Denise Susan and Dianna May; one brother, Ernest Stroh; and three sisters; Dorothy Love, Irene Stroh and Violet Stroh.

Private arrangements were under the direction of Kenosha Funeral Services, Kenosha, Wis.
