Clark, Appleby marry

Judy Clark of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Mountain Home, and Bryan Appleby of Scotts Valley, Calif., were married at College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa on Oct. 18, 2003.

The couple met through a mutual friend while attending Santa Cruz Bible Church. After developing a close friendship, the two began dating in August of 2002.

Judy Clark, daughter of John and Connie Clark, was born and raised in Idaho. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1995. She then went on to receive her B.A. in English Education from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa in 1999.

She taught at Kuna Night School the following year. She then moved to San Jose and taught at Valley Christian High School.

Judy currently works as a grant writer for a non-profit agency in San Jose.

Bryan Appleby, son of Ronald Appleby and the deceased Deborah Appleby, was raised in San Jose. In 1994, he graduated from Piedmont Hills High School and then attended California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, Calif., where he obtained a BS degree in civil engineering in 1999.

Bryan currently works as a licensed civil engineer for a consulting firm in Santa Cruz, California.

The couple resides in Scotts Valley, Calif.
