Darlene Viola McGrath

October 30, 1932 – August 21, 2025

Darlene Viola McGrath passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2025, at the age of 92. That was her final wish. She was born on October 30, 1932, in Blair, Nebraska, to Walter and Lily Anderson.

She will be remembered for her feisty nature, always speaking her mind, and her unwavering love for her family.

Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul McGrath, her son Randy McGrath, her sister Dorothy, and her brothers Richard and Robert Anderson.

She is survived by her grandsons Ryan McGrath (Abbie) and Randy McGrath (Melissa), and great-grandchildren Goldie, Poppy, Kynlee, and Cashton.

Darlene’s family would like to thank DeAnn James for her care and compassion that allowed Darlene to remain in her home until the very end. Also, a thank you to Sophia Burkhart. A private family graveside service will be held to honor her memory
