Robert Frederick Baum
Robert Frederick Baum went Home to the Lord September 4, 2024. He departed from home with his wife by his side into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on March 11,1947 to Edward Baum and Marie Gorski Baum. When Bob was very young his family moved to Maryland, New York where they farmed. He began doing farm work at a young age.
He graduated from Draper High School in Schenevus, New York in 1965 and enlisted in the Air Force in November 1965. He served in Japan, Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam, Utah, and Mountain Home, Idaho as a munition specialist. He met his wife, Judy Cotner Baum, in November 1971 in Mountain Home and they married February 3, 1972.
He owned Baum's Heating and Air Conditioning in Mountain Home until he retired due to health.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Judy and his nieces and nephews.
An Interment Service will be held at 10:00 AM, October 3, 2024, at the Committal Shelter in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery at 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise, Idaho. He chose his ashes to be in the Columbian Wall Niche at the cemetery. He would be honored if friends would be able to attend.
They are on a tight schedule and ask people to arrive 10-15 minutes before 10:00 and follow directional signs to the guest assembly area and line up for the vehicle procession. Stay with your vehicle until directed.
