Kathleen Schipani

Kathleen Schipani passed away while surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Boise.

She was born on October 31, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York to James and Florence Kolb. Kathy married her husband, James J. Schipani, on November 3, 1979, in New York. Together they had one son, Jimmy. Kathy loved her son with all her heart. She accompanied him to bowling tournaments and attended all his sporting events while he was growing up.

Kathy retired from the Mountain Home School District, where she served as a Para Educator for many years. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing bingo.

Kathy is survived by her husband, James J. Schipani, son, Jimmy (Robynn) Schipani; sister, Maryann (Mike) Kolb-Eckert; brother, Jim (Cara) Kolb; sister, Bernadette (Brian) Munoz; sister, Elizabeth (Elijah) Pugh; brother, Tim (Michelle) Kolb; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Florence Kolb; brother, Christopher Kolb; sister, Christine Tiilikainen; and brother, Michael Kolb.

Family and friends are invited to Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel for a Rosary on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will also be at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The inurnment will be immediately followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
