Timothy Lee Jewett, 82,raised in Bruneau, passed away on July 27, 2022, in Clarkston, WA. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday September 16, 2022, at the Bruneau Legion Hall. Tim was born in Twin Falls to Buster and Grace Jewett on October 20, 1939. He went to school at Bruneau High School.He married Laurie Tullis Raberand and had 3 children. He served in the Air Force and worked numerous jobs throughout his life, such as, a Realtor, Bails Bondsman, Life Insurance Salesman, Fishing Guide, Miner, Owner of Bruneau Past Time, Bruneau Café, and TJ’s Cards of Nampa, manager of Scotty’s Castle and Casino in Death Valley, Nevada. After years of no Bruneau Roundup Rodeo, Tim became passionate on resurrecting the local Rodeo. Tim, brother Steve Jewett, and multiple community members worked with endless entities and endless hours to kick-start the Bruneau Round-Up Rodeo in time for 1984 Round-up. Tim’s passion for fishing lead him up Hell’s Canyon as a river guide for many years. Tim has enjoyed his family through retirement on the banks of the river.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents Buster and Grace Jewett, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and son Timothy Steve Jewett. Tim is survived by wife Jolee Nicklas Jewett, daughter Sheila Jewett Smith, son Cameron Jewett (Kendra), son Steve Porter, and son Luis Lovato, brother Steve Jewett and Sister Ella Jewett Gennette, 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
