Message from State Representative Matthew Bundy

Wednesday, November 10, 2021

It is an honor to serve as an Idaho State Representative and I am proud to serve veterans in this capacity. I served 20 years as a combat aviator in the United States Air Force and those experiences influence all that I am and all that I do. I am an active member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. These types of veteran’s groups are key in ensuring that the issues that are important in ensuring that our nation’s defense and the care of our military and veterans remain in full focus to our policy makers at the state and national level.

I would like to personally thank you and your family for all you have done and all you continue to do for our nation. We all joined for many different reasons, but I am sure our love of country was at the top of the list for all of us. There are a few WWII veterans still with us and we honor them. I also honor the veterans from Korea, Vietnam, The Cold War, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the many other areas from around the world that our troops have served. We share the bonds of friendship, service, and sacrifice. We share the bond of knowing we did our part in the great history of this nation.
