Tuesday, November 10, 2020

Nov. 3 found Elmore County in an election process that was something officials could have never dreamed of.

Speaking to election official the morning after the elections, they reported that they had “much” more ballots cast then prior elections. The one polling place available on Election day had many more register to vote that day than expected as well, and officials were not able to give the Mountain Home News a number of total registered voters.

It appeared that if all previously registered voters and new voters cast ballots, it would indeed be a record election for Elmore County.
