Stores Offer Curbside Pickup and Individual Shopping by Appointment Hoffman Estates, Ill. (April 7, 2020)

Sears Hometown Stores announced today that its locally owned and operated stores remain open during the COVID-19 crisis to serve customers and provide essential products, such as appliances, tools and mattresses.

“Our customers can rest assured that we are taking the necessary precautions as directed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure their health and safety during the COVID-19 crisis,” said Brandon Gartman, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Sears Hometown Stores. “We are also encouraging customers to follow the directions of the CDC and wear a personal face covering when shopping with us,” Gartman added.

Sears Hometown Stores also has introduced new ways to shop and enable social distancing during the COVID-19 crisis. Customers can now: •Visit searshometownstores.com to browse, purchase and schedule home delivery •Call the local Sears Hometown Store owner to schedule a curbside pickup •Call the local Sears Hometown Store owner to schedule a time to shop if they prefer minimal or no contact with other customers.
