Marjorie “Jean” Mouser, 84, of Mountain Home, passed away December 27, 2019, peacefully at St Luke’s Elmore.

Jean was born June 18, 1935, in Bremerton, Washington. Jean and her husband Larry Mouser moved to Mountain Home over 60 years ago. As a long time home daycare provider, Jean helped raise many children in our community as well as her own five children. Jean was a very creative woman; painting, sewing, and stitching. She crocheted and knitted 100s of blankets and sweaters for children in need, all over the world. She loved gardening and flowers, camping in her younger days and being outdoors. But most of all Jean loved all babies and dogs. She will be missed by many.

Jean is survived by her daughters; Shelly Adams, Kathy Carter, and Tami Mouser, her daughters in-law Sherrie Mouser and Carol Katz-Mouser, her grandchildren: Samantha McLean, Jessica Sprain, Trent Daugherty, Sarah Cadena, Corey, Michael, Kayla and Rylann, Leah and Grace Carter and numerous great-grandchildren that called her Grandma Great. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, and two sons, Dennis and Bill Mouser.

As per her wishes, there will be no service. Please, just share your memories of her with each other.

Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
