MHSD Board receives “Good News’” from around the district and approves ‘Adopt a Cop’ program

The Mountain Home School District Board of Trustees were full of holiday cheer Tuesday evening when Superintendent James Gilbert asked all to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

"Good News" for the district includes North Elementary's Barb Christiansen and Tricia Docherty giving a shout-out to their after-school math tutors Charlie Mauask and Shelby Sandefur. Appreciation was given for all of their hard work in planning and implementing the program, which, is designed for grades K-4. Sherri Redmond, and Heidi Harris run the science portion of the program, and have received a grant for $2500 for STEM related activities, such as, Legos.
