James (Jimmy) L. Corbus passed away at St. Luke’s Long Term Care in the early morning of Saturday, September 07, 2019 at the age of 69 after an extended illness. A memorial service for Jimmy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 16, 2019, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Jimmy was born on January 31, 1950 to Franklin H. Corbus and Adelia E. Scott in Mountain Home. He graduated from Mountain Home Senior High School in 1968. After graduation he worked as a tractor salesman, which started a life-long love of all things John Deere. He was a collector of antiques and tractors. Jimmy took great pride in his collection, entering them in parades and lining them up by the road to show them off.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Adelia Corbus; and his brother, Donald Corbus. Jimmy is survived by his brother, Michael (Anita) Corbus; four nephews: Bud Corbus, Ray Corbus, Matthew Corbus, Allan Minnier and two nieces: Donna Young and Sara Corbus and their families. The Corbus family would like give a special thank you to the staff at St. Luke’s LTCU for their care of Jimmy.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for you to make a donation to the St. Luke’s Elmore Foundation in Jimmy’s name.
