Hi! My name is David Anthony Carlon. I was born on March 22, 1944 at a hospital in New York City, New York, to Julia Soler Carlon and Andrew Budd Carlon Sr.

I served in the US Army. During 1961, I was a Combat Engineer in Vietnam and worked in Medical Supply during the Desert Storm/Shield. I have been on several installations. Fort Lewis, Washington, where I met and married my wife, Marie Joyce (Smith) Carlon, on March 26, 1979 in Discom Chapel, where my first son, Joshua David Carlon was born in 1979. Later on at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, my second son, Mathew James Carlon was born in 1984. I have been to several countries during my military career: Vietnam, Germany, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Korea, to name a few. I retired from the military in 1991 and moved to Idaho, where I worked as a security guard and started a family janitorial business before I retired.

I am a grandfather to seven grandchildren; Mary Jane, Ryan, Zoey, Trynity, Cayden, Johnnie and Jackson and I am a great granddad to Creedence. I have two siblings, an older sister, Lois Carlon and a younger brother Andrew Budd Carlon

David passed away in his home on July 29, 2019, of natural causes. Per David’s request, no services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
