Betty J. Werry Woodbury

Betty J. Werry Woodbury age, 93, passed away on November 25, 2018 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born on July 8, 1925 in Madison, Wisconsin to Norma and Roy Williams.

She met and married John Werry in Bellevue, Idaho in 1942. They divorced in 1943, but remarried in 1944. Jon and Betty settled in Boise and moved to Mountain Home in 1955. After 47 years John died in 19991 and Betty moved to Yuma, Arizona. There she met and married Charles Woodbury. They had 16 years of traveling the world together. Charles preceded her in death.

Betty was a homemaker her entire life. She loved dancing, baking, reading and traveling. She was an avid crossword puzzle fan and loved to play cards. She was a member of Yuma Easter Star, Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church and Kofa Campers.

Betty is survived by daughters: Carol Clark and Sherrie Williams, sons: Jeff (Amanda) Werry, Charles "Rusty" (Marty) Woodbury, David (Vanessa) Woodbury, Frank (Lori) Woodbury and John Woodbury and three grandchildren: Julia, Kate and Geoff Woodbury.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Bellevue Cemetary on Saturday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. Services are under the care of Wood River Chapel. Friends are invited to share memories and leave a condolence at www.woodriverchapel.com
