Grant will cover large part of Safe House costs

The Elmore County Domestic Violence Council has been awarded a grant for $338,352 from the Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance for 2020. This grant will help cover about 80 percent of the costs to open and fund the safe house, a huge win for Elmore County Domestic Violence Council’s mission to provide a safe place for victims and survivors.

“This is a game changer for our organization. We will be able to provide life-saving resources to victims and survivors at our Safe House and Resource Center,” said Executive Director, Kimberly Middleton.
