Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little has issued two pardons in accordance with the unanimous recommendation of the Idaho Commission of Pardons and Parole. Each of the individuals pardoned paid their debt to society, did not commit any subsequent felonies or misdemeanors and made exemplary contributions to their communities through business, volunteerism, and community leadership after fulfilling their sentence.

Fred Charles Wiley of Elmore County was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in 1981. He was sentenced to one to two years in prison and released on parole in 1984, fully satisfying his sentence in 1985. Wiley ran a successful BMW motorcycle business in Boise for 40 years, regularly servicing the motorcycle fleet of the Boise Police Department and donating frequently to local charities. Multiple judges and law enforcement officers wrote to the commission on his behalf in support of the pardon.
