Charles Larry Shrader Sr.

Charles Larry Shrader, Sr., age 77, of Mountain Home, went to be with Our Lord at 3:30 pm on April 27, 2019. A memorial service was held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home on May 2, 2019 and burial at Cambridge Cemetery on May 6, 2019.

Larry, as he was known to family, was born in Caldwell, on November 27, 1941 to Charles Robert Shrader and Bonnie Blanche Greenbank. He grew up in Idaho and most enjoyed being a cowboy. Larry joined the U.S. Air Force at age 17. After serving 22 years, he retired as a Master Sargent in 1981. He had served overseas on several tours of duty and was a Vietnam War Veteran.

Larry had a passion for children in orphanages and served for years as a Missions Director. He was an active member of the ALL IN CHURCH in Mountain Home.

Larry is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary Louise Shrader, 9 children: Terrie Sue Blevins, Glenda Cortner, Charles Shrader Jr., Chad Shrader, Bianca Shrader, Marvin McCoy, Marilyn Cruson, Mike McCoy, Jack McCoy, 23 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren along with 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Larry is preceded in death by both parents and a brother.
