Kayce Frances Lemis 1954 - 2019

Kayce Frances Lemis passed away on 26 April 2019 in Mountain Home, with her husband by her.

Kayce was born in Hondo, Texas on 6 December 1954, the oldest child of William Timberlake and Mary Thompson. At a young age she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her mother and brother where she was raised and graduated high school. After living in Nevada for many years, she met and married her husband of 32 years. With her husband being in the United States Air Force she transferred to Alamogordo, New Mexico and then here to Mountain Home during his time in service.

A kind, caring and compassionate woman, Kayce readily lent assistance to friend and stranger alike. Always ready to provide a meal if you were hungry, a bed if you were tired or simply an ear to hear your troubles. She never met a stranger and had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel welcome. The world was a better place with her in it.

Kayce is survived by her husband Chris and son Kirk Kanie Jr. She is also survived by her brothers Dub Timberlake and Paul Thompson Jr.

There will be a celebration of life for Kayce on Saturday, 18 May from noon to 4pm at 1050 N 15th East, Mountain Home.

Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
