Abelardo Ambriz Hurtado passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the age of 56. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church on December 4, 2018 with burial following at Mountain View Cemetery.

He was born on June 19, 1962 in the small town of Coeneo Michoacán, Mexico. The youngest son of Atenojenes and Encarnacion Hurtado, he grew up in a big family that consisted of 6 brothers and 2 sisters. He married the love of his life, Angelica, in 1980 and devoted the rest of his years to making a better life for them and his children that would arrive in the coming years. They moved from Mexico to California, and eventually to Mountain Home, Idaho in his early 30’s where he would settle and proudly work as a Farmer for the rest of his life. He was a huge soccer and rodeo fan, in his down time that is what he loved to do. He also enjoyed catching up with friends and family at gatherings. Anybody that had been blessed with his presence would say that he was the epitome of a man that had the biggest heart, most humble attitude, and extremely admirable work ethic of anyone they had met, always handy with tools and willing to help anyone that was in need of any help, no matter the situation. He will forever be remembered in our hearts as a hero that dedicated his life to teach his children the values of being a good man, and to always have aspiration to achieve their wildest dreams.

Abelardo is survived by his sons Abelardo Jr., Ismael, Cèsar and Uriel, and preceded in death by both parents, 4 brothers and his wife Angelica.
