Indoor pool project moves forward even with financial shortfall

On Oct. 3 the Board of Directors of the Western Elmore County Recreation District made the decision to move forward with signing a contract with LCA Architects to begin the constructional design of an indoor pool facility during a meeting with representatives of the company.

During the meeting WECRD attorney Larry Ashcraft asked questions about the contact pertaining to what all would be covered by the contract and the fees that would be agreed to with the signing of the document.     Figured this would happen as soon as I saw some familiar names from the past that tried to cram this down the communities throat a few years ago. Wonder what this will be turned into when it falls due a lack of financial support.
